The first great episode of the series. Dave tries to help Bill quit smoking (due to a non-smoking ordinance) by quitting caffeine. Lisa's worried that Joe saw her and Dave together at the movies. Matthew is still just a nervous guy at this point and hasn't yet descended to 'dumb as a grapefruit.' (Let's not forget Bill's overuse of the nicotine patch and the hard-cut-to-ambulance shot that will be reused several times throughout the life of the show.)
