a, an

Particular confusion arises when used before 'h' words. Use 'a' when the 'h' is pronounced, e.g. a hotel. Use 'an' when the 'h' is silent, e.g. an hour. Here's another confusing case that abides by the same rule: 'I have a Master's degree,' and 'I have an M.A.'
