Style Guide of Common Errors in English Grammar for Writers

Internet and computer terms:

CD-ROM
cyberspace
e-business
ecommerce
email
e-tailer
e-zine
home page
hyperlink
hypertext
internet
intranet
net
online
web
website
webpage
webzine
World Wide Web

Associated Press, in their Stylebook, still recommends "Web site," "Internet" and the absolutely absurd "e-mail." Oxford English Dictionary says otherwise. Common usage seems to agree. I've used their spelling above. In terms of hyphenated "e" words, like email, ecommerce, etc., use common sense. Common usage has eliminated the hyphen in many of those words. When in doubt, says the OED, hyphenate. Regardless, just be consistent. That's the most important thing.
