Remember this old rule? No, probably not. The good news for you is that the rule is now commonly out of fashion. It used to be: Don't use 'Over 100 people attended.' Use 'More than 100 people attended.' The rule itself is only about 150 years old, so it's no terrible loss. Use your own judgement when deciding which to use. Neither is wrong.
