Monday Night Football jumps a huge shark

During halftime of the first Monday Night Football game on ESPN (Sept. 11, 2006), host Chris Berman presented a little "halftime o' tragedy" to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the attack. I was originally going to call ESPN to complain, but the thought of some customer service goober reading a prescripted response, "sir, your comments are important to us and we will take this into consideration," only filled me with more rage. After I settled down, I recorded my rant. It's almost funny. I stress "almost." If you don't want to waste the next 75 seconds of your life, I'll give you the gist of it. "ESPN should stick to sports. Period." There's your gist.
